Lainey Wilson to Make Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and she shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. In 2024, she has already secured a number of upcoming commitments, including a role in a commercial that will air during the Super Bowl.

Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking element created using CGI technology, allowing fans to have an enhanced viewing experience.

In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be captured in the midst of a photo session when suddenly the "Chill Train" speeds past her. The scene will be frosty, featuring gusts of snow, a stylish jacket with an icy blue trim, and, naturally, a refreshing can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the popular country singer actually filmed her part for the ad in the sunny city of Los Angeles.

According to the country singer, I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable guitar and a horse that was provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying cool makeup effects that made it seem like frost, as well as adding fake snow to my hair and eyelashes. It was a unique experience for me, allowing me to explore my creativity in new and exciting ways, which I always enjoy.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to observe the highly anticipated showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that while she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally thrilled about the halftime show.

"I am thrilled to see Usher perform and I am also excited for the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you should definitely seize the opportunity," expresses the singer. "It is a unique experience that happens only once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be going with some of my friends and fellow artists. It is going to be a fantastic celebration."

Although she didn't explicitly express her full support for either team, Wilson appears to be rooting for the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, with the expectation of them winning again.

Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. They attended one of his shows last summer, and according to Wilson, they are genuinely wonderful individuals. As a result, if he had to choose someone to support, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as the Super Bowl approaches. This is not only because he is considered one of the most influential players in the NFL, but also due to his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule. Fans are excited and hopeful that they will see her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. Swift's Eras Tour will continue earlier that week, with a show in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. However, it is likely that she will be able to make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl because of the time difference.

After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce.
