Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. In fact, she has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, which now includes a coveted appearance in a Super Bowl commercial.
Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that will promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the advert will feature a virtual seat booking element using CGI technology, providing fans with an enjoyable experience.
In Wilson's upcoming advertisement with a winter theme, she will be depicted in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly the "Chill Train" swiftly passes by her. The scene will capture a cold atmosphere, with gusts of snow, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a refreshing can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the advertisement in the sunny city of Los Angeles.
The country singer shares a story about a photo shoot where they were accompanied by their beloved guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved applying unique makeup effects that made them look frosty, and they also had the opportunity to have fake snow added to their hair and eyelashes. This experience allowed them to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, which is always enjoyable for them.
Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the highly-anticipated showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wilson acknowledges that while she is thrilled about watching the game, she is equally excited for the halftime show.
"I am thrilled to be able to see Usher perform and I'm also excited for the game. This is only the second time I have the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl, and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you simply cannot pass it up," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be attending alongside my friends and fellow artists. It is going to be an amazing celebration."
While she didn't explicitly endorse any particular team, Wilson appears to be rooting for the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, to secure another victory.
Wilson shares that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs football team. He mentions that they attended one of his shows during the previous summer and expresses that they are genuinely wonderful individuals. Wilson admits that if he had to support a particular team or individuals, it would likely be Kelce and Mahomes.
Naturally, everyone is paying close attention to Kelce as he approaches the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also because of his relationship with the famous pop star, Taylor Swift.
Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her touring schedule, and a lot of fans are hoping to catch a glimpse of her at the Super Bowl, which is scheduled for Feb. 11. Swift's Eras Tour picks up again earlier that week: she has a performance scheduled in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10; however, it's entirely possible that she will make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl due to the time difference.
After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Get more updates from Taste of Country. Stay connected with us for more information.
