Lainey Wilson to Make Super Bowl Commercial Cameo for Coors Light’s Chill Train

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular country music artist, had a very busy year in 2023 and it seems like she won't be taking a break as she enters the new year. She has already been scheduled for several events in 2024, and one of them includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

As reported by Billboard, Wilson is set to appear in a commercial for Coors Light, where he will make a brief appearance to promote the comeback of the beer brand's Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking element through CGI, allowing fans to have an enhanced experience.

Wilson will be featured in a wintry-themed advertisement, where she will be depicted in the midst of a photoshoot when suddenly a train called the "Chill Train" speeds by her. The scene will be set in a cold and snowy environment, with Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, it is interesting to note that despite the wintry setting, the country superstar actually filmed her scene for the advertisement in the sunny city of Los Angeles.

"I had a photo shoot where I posed with my reliable old guitar and a horse that was arranged for me by Coors Light. We incorporated some interesting makeup effects that made us look frosted, and we also had the opportunity to use fake snow in my hair and eyelashes and other areas," recalls the country singer. "I had the chance to do something completely new and express my creativity in various ways, which is always enjoyable for me."

Wilson, who is in a relationship with former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl live this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to watch the intense match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that she is equally thrilled about both watching the game and the halftime show.

"I am very enthusiastic about seeing Usher perform, and I'm also looking forward to the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, and whenever you receive an invitation to go, you seize the opportunity," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I'm fortunate to be able to go with some of my friends and fellow artists. It's going to be a fantastic celebration."

While she didn't explicitly endorse any specific team, Wilson appears to be optimistic about the Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions, achieving another victory.

According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are the tight end and quarterback of the Chiefs football team, respectively. They attended one of his shows last summer and Wilson considers them to be wonderful individuals. As a result, if he had to choose someone to support, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he enters the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's most influential athletes but also because of his high-profile relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.

Whenever she can fit it into her busy tour schedule, Taylor Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season. Fans are excited and hoping that she will also make an appearance at the Super Bowl on February 11th. However, Swift's Eras Tour will resume earlier in the week with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. Despite this, there is a chance she could make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the Super Bowl because of the time difference.

After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift plants a kiss on Travis Kelce. Additional content can be found on Taste of Country. Stay updated by following us.
