Ernest, Loretta Lynn's son, recently underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, there has been some positive news as Ernest's health has shown signs of improvement, according to his wife Crystal's recent update on Monday (Jan. 29).
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reason for the positive changes in her situation, except for believing in a higher power. She highlights the unpredictability of her circumstances, from unsuccessful dialysis sessions to suddenly successful ones, and from facing serious challenges to experiencing a more positive outlook on the future.
According to her, GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and indeed, HE has achieved it! Crystal further adds that Ernest is in the process of recovering, as shown in a photo where he is seen sitting in a chair at a medical facility. He is connected to various machines, but he seems to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's medical challenges, Crystal has been reaching out to fans and asking for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she highlights the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude by acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith of the readers, the support of their almighty God, and the prayers that were offered. She thanks everyone for being a crucial part of their support system and for caring enough to dedicate their time to pray for them. She also expresses her appreciation for everyone who is part of God's army and assures them that they are eternally grateful.
Additionally, she points out that Ernest is able to return to his own residence in order to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn surpassed the lifespans of two of her children that she had with her deceased husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her oldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away at the age of 90 on October 4, 2022, in her residence in Hurricane Mills. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as a country music artist, earning her the title of the most decorated female country performer in history.
