Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal provided an update stating that he has started to experience significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reason for the positive changes in her situation, except to attribute it to a higher power, possibly God. She shares how one day they were unable to have a successful dialysis session for a total of three weeks, but the very next day they were able to. Similarly, one day they were facing potentially dire circumstances, but the following day the situation seemed less serious. Crystal also mentions how one day they were uncertain about what the future holds, but the next day they feel optimistic and confident that the future will be positive.
She confidently mentions that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we, as humans, cannot achieve. Furthermore, Crystal posted a picture of Ernest, who seems to be recovering in a medical facility, sitting on a chair and connected to various machines, but still finding comfort in rest.
During Ernest's difficult time with his health, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support from others. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, caring enough to take the time to pray for them. She also appreciates everyone for being part of what she refers to as God's army, and they are forever thankful for it.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest is able to return to his home in order to recuperate following his time at the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has managed to live longer than two of her children whom she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The two children are Betty Sue, their oldest daughter, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, and Jack Benny, their oldest son, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. She had reached the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as one of the most accomplished artists in the country music genre. Lynn holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards received.
