Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, his wife Crystal has provided an update stating that Ernest's health has shown significant improvement as of Monday (Jan. 29).
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot provide any logical reason for the sudden positive change in their situation, except to credit it to a higher power, which she refers to as GOD. She highlights the drastic shift from being unable to undergo a successful dialysis procedure for three consecutive weeks, to suddenly being able to do so. Additionally, she mentions the contrast between facing more critical circumstances on one day, and the following day, when those circumstances seem less dire. Crystal also emphasizes the change in their perspective about the future, initially being uncertain about it, but then gaining confidence and optimism, believing that the future holds brightness and positivity.
According to Crystal, GOD is capable of achieving things that we are unable to do, and HE has already accomplished it! Crystal further mentioned that Ernest is in the process of recovering and shared a picture of him seated in a medical facility, connected to various machines but seemingly at ease.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans to seek their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's overall health progress.
She expresses her gratitude by acknowledging that none of this achievement would have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of the readers. She thanks everyone for being a part of their support system, caring enough to dedicate time to pray for them, and for being a part of God's army. They are eternally thankful for everyone's involvement.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest is allowed to return home to recover once he is discharged from the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the deaths of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success in the field of country music, making her one of the most accomplished artists in the genre. Lynn holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards received.
