Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, on Monday, Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses her inability to provide any logical explanation for the situation she is describing, attributing it solely to the intervention of a higher power, which she refers to as God. She highlights the drastic shift in circumstances, from a failed dialysis procedure extending over a period of three weeks to suddenly achieving success in the process. Moreover, she mentions the transition from facing grave circumstances to finding relief from them. Crystal further emphasizes the uncertainty about the future that was once prevalent, but now she feels optimistic and assured that a promising future lies ahead.
She continues to express that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to, and that HE has successfully accomplished it! Crystal further adds that she shared a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair in a healthcare facility, connected to medical equipment but otherwise finding comfort in rest.
During Ernest's difficult medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that all of this would not have been achievable without the belief and trust that you, as well as the support and prayers from our powerful higher being. She sincerely thanks everyone for being a part of the support network, for caring enough to dedicate time to pray for them, and for being a valued member of God's followers. Their appreciation is everlasting.
She also mentions that Ernest is allowed to return home in order to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, who she had with her late husband Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their Hurricane Mills, Tennessee property.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as an artist in the country music genre, earning her the title of the most honored female country performer in history.
