Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent a surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health, which is encouraging news.
Crystal expresses her inability to provide any explanation for the favorable turn of events other than attributing it to a higher power, specifically God, as stated on her Facebook post. She highlights the sudden change in circumstances, such as the ability to successfully undergo dialysis after three weeks of unsuccessful attempts, the shift from facing serious circumstances to lighter ones, and the transition from uncertainty about the future to having a positive outlook and confidence that it holds promising opportunities.
According to her, GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and indeed, HE has already accomplished it! Crystal proceeded to post a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a medical center. He is connected to various machines but appears to be resting comfortably.
During the time Ernest was going through his medical struggles, Crystal reached out to his fans for support and prayer, as they were worried about his recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improvement in health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of their audience. She extends her thanks to everyone who has been a part of their support system, taken the time to pray for them, and considers them to be a part of God's army. Their appreciation for these individuals is everlasting.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return home and recuperate following his time at the hospital.
Loretta Lynn survived the passing of two of her children, whom she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her oldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away at the age of 90 on October 4, 2022, in her residence in Hurricane Mills. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as a country music artist and held the record for the most awards received by a female country performer.
