Loretta Lynn's son, Ernest, recently had surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, there is now some encouraging news as Ernest's health has started to improve significantly, according to an update from his wife, Crystal.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she is unable to provide any logical explanation for the sudden positive turn of events, except attributing it to a higher power, God. She mentions how, just a day prior, they were struggling with unsuccessful dialysis treatments for a period of three weeks, but the following day, they were able to achieve success. Similarly, she highlights how they were previously confronted with more severe circumstances, but the next day, those circumstances seemed less dire. Crystal also mentions the uncertainty they experienced regarding the future, but suddenly, they now have a strong belief that the future holds promising outcomes.
According to her, GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we, as humans, cannot achieve, and HE has indeed achieved it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in a chair at a medical facility, connected to various machines but otherwise appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's difficult medical situation, Crystal has reached out to fans, asking for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improving health.
She expresses that without the faith of the readers, the support of God, and their prayers and support, none of this would have been achievable. She extends her gratitude to everyone for being a part of their support system, for taking the time to pray for them, and for being a part of God's army. They are forever thankful.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return to his own home in order to recuperate following his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn lived longer than two of her children that she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. On October 4, 2022, Lynn passed away at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music. Lynn holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards received.
