Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns that the surgery may not have been successful. However, there is now some positive news as Ernest's wife, Crystal, has shared that he has started to show significant improvements in his health as of Monday, January 29th.
On Facebook, Crystal states that she cannot provide any explanation for the positive changes in her situation other than attributing them to God. She mentions how one day her dialysis treatment was unsuccessful for a period of three weeks, but suddenly the next day it became successful. Similarly, she discusses facing more severe circumstances on one day, only for them to seemingly diminish the next day. Crystal also mentions how uncertainty about the future was prevalent at one point, but now she feels confident that the future holds promise and positivity.
She continues to express that God is capable of doing things that we are unable to do, and He has indeed accomplished it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in a chair at a medical facility. He is connected to machines but seems to be resting comfortably.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers regarding her husband's recovery. In her latest update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's progress in terms of his health.
She expresses her gratitude, acknowledging that none of the achievements would have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of the readers. She thanks everyone for being a part of their support system and for dedicating their time to pray for them. She also appreciates everyone for being a part of God's army and they will forever remain grateful.
In addition, she mentions that Ernest has the opportunity to return to his own house in order to recover after his time in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn experienced the heartbreak of losing two of her children who she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her oldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while her oldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved remarkable success as an artist in the country music genre, earning the highest number of accolades among all female country performers.
