Loretta Lynn's son, Ernest, recently had surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns about the success of the procedure. However, there is now some positive news regarding Ernest's recovery. According to his wife Crystal, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expresses on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the events that have taken place, except for the presence of a higher power, which she refers to as God. She describes how there was a period of three weeks where they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment, but suddenly, the next day, they were able to. Similarly, there were moments when they were confronted with grave circumstances, but the following day, those circumstances seemed less severe. Crystal highlights the contrast between feeling uncertain about what lies ahead one day, and feeling optimistic and assured about a bright future the next day.
According to her, there are things that GOD can accomplish which we are unable to achieve, and HE has indeed accomplished it! Crystal further added that Ernest is in the process of recovering, as seen in the photo she shared. He is shown sitting in a chair at a medical facility, connected to machines but otherwise resting comfortably.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for support and prayers regarding her husband's healing process. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant role that prayer has played in Ernest's improvements in health.
The author expresses gratitude for the role faith, God, and prayers played in making their current situation possible. They extend their thanks to everyone who supported them and took the time to pray. They acknowledge the collective effort of being part of God's army and express eternal gratitude.
In addition, she mentions that Ernest is allowed to return home for the purpose of recovering after his time at the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of her children, whom she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Sadly, her eldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved immense success as a prominent figure in the country music industry and held the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards.
