Initially, there were difficulties with dialyzation for a period of three weeks. However, without any apparent reason, the situation improved dramatically the very next day. Along with this, the severity of the circumstances they were facing seemed to diminish overnight. Uncertainty about the future shifted to a newfound confidence as they now believe that the days ahead hold a promising and positive outlook.
Crystal expresses that GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to do, and she affirms that HE has indeed done it. Additionally, Crystal shares a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a medical facility, seated in a chair and connected to medical equipment, while appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's health crisis, Crystal has reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improvement in health.

Her oldest daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema, while her eldest son Jack Benny tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills. She had reached the age of 90.
