Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, received encouraging news about his recovery after undergoing a life-saving surgery to address his kidney failure. Initial indications had suggested that the surgery may not have been successful. However, as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's wife Crystal shared an update stating that he has started experiencing significant improvements in his health.
Crystal expressed on Facebook that she cannot find any logical explanation for the change in her situation other than attributing it to a higher power, specifically God. She mentioned how one day they were unable to achieve a successful dialysis treatment for a period of three weeks, but the very next day, they were able to. Similarly, one day they were dealing with more severe circumstances, but the following day, the situation seemed less dire. Crystal also mentioned how uncertain they were about what the future held at one point, but suddenly they felt confident that the future held positive outcomes.
According to her, GOD is capable of accomplishing things that we are unable to achieve, and HE has indeed accomplished it! Crystal also posted an image of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a medical facility, sitting in a chair and connected to various machines, but otherwise appearing to be at ease.
During Ernest's medical journey, Crystal has been reaching out to fans for their support and prayers regarding her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had in improving Ernest's health.

Loretta Lynn's late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn, had two children with her who sadly passed away before her. The first one was their oldest daughter Betty Sue, who died in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second one was their oldest son Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their Hurricane Mills, Tennessee property.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music, and she held the record for the highest number of awards received by a female country performer.
