Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, recently underwent surgery in an attempt to treat his kidney failure. Initially, there were concerns regarding the success of the procedure. However, a recent update from his wife Crystal indicates that Ernest's health has shown positive improvements as of Monday (Jan. 29).
On Facebook, Crystal expresses her inability to explain the situation, attributing it to a higher power, possibly God. She points out the unpredictable nature of their dialysis treatments, where one day they are unsuccessful for a total of three weeks, but the very next day they become successful. Similarly, their circumstances can quickly change from being more serious to less serious in a short span of time. Crystal highlights the uncertainty they experience about the future on one day, only to find themselves filled with confidence and optimism about the bright future on the next day.
She expresses that GOD is capable of achieving things that we are unable to accomplish, and indeed, HE has accomplished it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a medical center, connected to various machines but otherwise resting comfortably.
During Ernest's difficult medical journey, Crystal has reached out to fans for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer has had on Ernest's improved health.
The writer acknowledges that none of their achievements would have been possible without the faith, prayers, and support of the reader, along with the assistance of their almighty God. They express gratitude to everyone involved for being a part of their support system, for taking the time to pray for them, and for being a part of God's army. The writer states that they are eternally thankful for all of this.
Additionally, she mentions that Ernest is fortunate enough to be allowed to return to his residence to recuperate following his time at the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has lived longer than two of her children whom she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. The first was their oldest daughter, Betty Sue, who passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. The second was their eldest son, Jack Benny, who tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on their property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
On October 4, 2022, Lynn passed away at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success as one of the most accomplished artists in country music history. Lynn holds the record for being the female country performer with the highest number of awards.
