Ernest, the son of Loretta Lynn, received positive news regarding his recovery after undergoing a life-saving surgery to treat his kidney failure. Initial indications were not promising, but as of Monday (Jan. 29), Ernest's health has shown significant improvements, as reported by his wife Crystal.
Crystal expressed on Facebook that she cannot find any logical reason for the sudden positive change, except for attributing it to God. She mentioned how one day they were unable to achieve successful dialysis for a total of three weeks, but the following day they were able to. She also pointed out how one day they were confronted with more severe situations, but the next day those circumstances seemed to have improved. Crystal highlighted the contrast between feeling uncertain about the future on one day and feeling hopeful and optimistic about it the next day.
She continues by saying that GOD is capable of doing things that we are unable to accomplish, and HE has indeed done it! Crystal also posted a picture of Ernest recovering in what seems to be a chair at a healthcare facility, connected to devices but otherwise resting peacefully.
During the time that Ernest was going through his medical challenges, Crystal reached out to fans and asked for their support and prayers for her husband's recovery. In her most recent update, she emphasizes the significant impact that prayer had on Ernest's improved health.
The writer expresses that their accomplishments would not have been achievable without the belief and trust that others have placed in them, the supreme deity, and the continuous prayers and support they have received. They extend their gratitude to everyone who has been a part of their support system, showing care by dedicating time to pray for them, and being an integral part of a divine army. She further points out that Ernest is allowed to return to his own home to recover after being in the hospital.
Loretta Lynn has experienced the unfortunate loss of two of her children, whom she had with her late husband, Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn. Her eldest daughter, Betty Sue, passed away in 2013 due to complications from emphysema. Additionally, her eldest son, Jack Benny, tragically drowned in 1984 while trying to cross a river on the Lynn family's property in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Lynn passed away on October 4, 2022, at her residence in Hurricane Mills at the age of 90. Throughout her life, she achieved great success in the field of country music and earned the highest number of awards among all female country performers.
