There are several successful country musicians who have not released any new albums in over five years. However, there is a possibility that this could change in the year 2024.
There are a few country stars on this list who have been relatively inactive before the pandemic. Among them, we can confidently say that at least three will be releasing an album this year. One of those stars is George Strait, who has taken a five-year break since the release of his album, Honky Tonk Time Machine.

Some musicians are lacking motivation to create new music. A renowned artist who is currently on tour has openly admitted that she has run out of ideas. Another artist is adopting a more laid-back approach to making music, and it is understandable considering their extensive discography of almost twelve exceptional albums.
