In Los Angeles, California, a woman displayed immense bravery by clinging onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, a woman took a dog belonging to Ali Zacharias outside a Whole Foods store.
The woman transported the dog, whose name was Onyx, to a white vehicle that was being operated by another individual.
Determinedly, Zacharias refused to allow the thieves to escape after stealing Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced down a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted how he firmly decided not to release his grip on the car and held onto the windshield wipers tightly. Without realizing it, the car started moving down the street and began to accelerate, causing Zacharias to panic and fear for his life.
There is a viral video circulating that captures the incident, where Zacharias can be seen clinging onto the car's hood.
In recounting her experience to NBC News through a TikTok video, Zacharias described how she initially thought her dog wanted to sniff something when he pulled on the leash, so she let go. However, she then noticed a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to retrieve her dog, Zacharias positioned herself in front of the car and firmly stated that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. The individuals in the car ignored her plea and intentionally drove into her, causing her to fall onto the car's hood. Despite this, Zacharias remained resolute and exclaimed that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Eventually, the individuals in the car drove away, leaving her clinging to the car.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute dog was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance until the car suddenly changed direction and caused him to be thrown off, resulting in minor injuries such as cuts and bruises. Unfortunately, Onyx, the dog, is still not found.
"I feel a sense of sadness whenever I engage in any activity, as I wish I could involve Onyx or that he could experience it too. For example, while grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not purchasing anything for him. It's astonishing how swiftly time has passed. It feels like this situation occurred recently, but it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in an investigation into the crime, which involves the reviewing of security footage, as reported by CBS.
