Chris Young displayed his injuries from a confrontation with Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) officers, which took place before his recent arrest. The injuries were just as agonizing as they appeared.
The singer recently shared with his fans the bruises he got from being pushed by a police officer. This caused him to lose his balance and fall against a bar, resulting in two noticeable bruises – one on the inside of his arm and another on his lower back.
In his post, Young expresses that the object in the photo is incredibly close to his spine. He shares the photo alongside a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song by the British rock band the Police released in 1980.
After reading Young's post, several fans expressed sympathy towards his experience in the comments section. However, there were also individuals who defended the officers' actions.
One person in the comments is questioning the acceptability of what they are doing and suggests that by taking legal action, it can help prevent similar incidents from happening to others.
One person suggests not interfering with someone's job and expresses a lack of sympathy towards the individual. However, they still enjoy the person's music.
Earlier this month, the actor known for his role in "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody for engaging in disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville.
However, when reviewing the video evidence of the incident, which includes footage from security cameras as well as recordings from other individuals present in the bar, it becomes apparent that the situation unfolded differently than initially described. The video shows that Young was respectful and compliant with the officers during his arrest. He only lightly touched one of the officers before being forcefully pushed backwards and ultimately over a bar.
The charges against the singer were dismissed, and Young then showed off his confidence to the individuals who believed he should not have made physical contact with the officer in the first place.
Now that all the accusations against Young have been dropped, the incident is no longer a legal concern for him. It is expected that he will resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, scheduled to be released on March 22.
