Chris Young displays his injuries that he sustained during a confrontation with officers from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) before his recent arrest. The injuries appear to be just as severe as they appeared at first glance.
The singer displayed his bruises to his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30), which he obtained when a police officer forcefully pushed him, resulting in him losing his balance and falling into the corner of a bar. These injuries consist of two noticeable bruises: one located on the inner side of his arm and the other on his lower back.
In his post, Young shares a photo and expresses that the object in the photo is too close to his spine. He also sets his post to a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song by the British rock group, the Police, from 1980.
After Young shared his story, several fans expressed sympathy for his experience in the comments. However, there were also some fans who defended the actions of the officers involved.
A commenter questions the acceptability of their actions, stating that taking legal action against them can help prevent similar incidents from happening to others.
One person expresses their opinion by stating that they should not interfere with someone's job and they cannot feel sympathy for them. However, they still enjoy the individual's music.
Earlier this month, the actor from "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar in Nashville called the Dawg House. The charges against him include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
However, the video evidence of the incident contradicts the initial account. Both security cameras and footage filmed by other people in the bar reveal a contrasting version: Young exhibited respectful and cooperative behavior towards the officers while being arrested. It appears that he only lightly touched one of the officers before the individual forcefully pushed him backwards and over a bar.
The singer's charges were dismissed, and afterwards, Young confidently responded to the "trolls" who criticized his decision to interact with the officer.
Young has been cleared of all charges, meaning that legally, the incident is no longer a concern for him. He will most likely resume promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, which is set to be released on March 22.
