Chris Young Reveals Injuries from Violent Police Run-In: The Aftermath of Nashville Bar Incident

  • by

Chris Young displayed the injuries he sustained during his encounter with officers from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) prior to his recent arrest. The injuries were just as severe as they appeared.

The singer revealed to his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30) the bruises he had obtained when an officer forcefully pushed him, resulting in him losing his balance and falling into the corner of a bar. These injuries consist of two prominent and dark bruises, one located on the inner part of his arm and the other on his lower back.

In his post, Young expresses his discomfort with how close something is to his spine. He shares a photo along with his words and matches it with a clip from "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song by the British rock band the Police released in 1980.

After reading Young's post, several fans expressed empathy towards his experience, while some individuals took a stance in support of the officers' actions in the comments section.

A commenter expresses their concern about the situation, stating that by taking legal action against the responsible party, it can potentially prevent similar incidents from happening to others. They question the acceptability of the actions taken by the responsible party.

One person expresses their opinion that interfering with someone's job should not be attempted and they do not feel sympathy towards the individual. Nevertheless, they still enjoy the person's music.

Earlier this month, the actor known for his role in "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

However, the video evidence of the event, captured by security cameras and other customers at the bar, presents a contrasting narrative. In the footage, Young is seen being respectful and compliant with the officers while being arrested. He only lightly made contact with one of the officers before the individual forcefully shoved him backwards, causing him to stumble over the bar.

The accusations against the singer were dismissed, and Young confidently showed off to the people who doubted his decision to interact with the officer.

Now that all the charges against Young have been dropped, the incident is no longer a legal concern for him. He will probably resume his activities promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, scheduled to be released on March 22.

Here are 11 amazing country songs that revolve around the theme of being arrested.
