Chris Young displayed his injuries from an encounter with officers from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) before he was arrested. The injuries were just as painful as they appeared.
The singer shared with his fans on Tuesday (Jan. 30) the bruises he obtained when a police officer forcefully pushed him, resulting in him losing his balance and falling into the corner of a bar. These injuries consist of two noticeable and dark bruises: one located on the inner part of his arm, and the other on his lower back.
In his post, Young shares a photo and expresses his discomfort, stating that the object is situated very near his spine. He sets his post to a clip of "Don't Stand So Close to Me," a popular song released in 1980 by the British rock band, the Police.
In the comment section of Young's post, a lot of fans expressed understanding and support for Young's experience, while some others argued in favor of the officers' actions.
A commenter is questioning the acceptability of allowing them to continue their actions if legal action is taken against them, emphasizing that suing them can serve as a deterrent to prevent similar incidents from happening to others.
One person expresses their opinion, stating that one should not attempt to interfere with someone else's occupation. They also mention that they cannot sympathize with the individual, but they still enjoy their music.
Earlier this month, the actor from the popular show "Young Love & Saturday Nights" was taken into custody at a bar called the Dawg House in Nashville. The charges against them include disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
However, when reviewing the video footage of the incident, it becomes evident that the situation unfolded differently. Both security cameras and recordings from other individuals present at the bar captured the events, revealing that Young behaved respectfully and cooperatively with the officers during his arrest. It appears that Young only made minimal contact with one of the officers before the officer forcefully pushed him backwards, causing him to fall over a bar.
The charges against the singer were dismissed, and afterwards, Young confidently responded to the individuals who criticized him for making physical contact with the officer.
Now that all the charges against Young have been dropped, he can put the incident behind him from a legal standpoint. He will probably go back to focusing on promoting his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, which is set to be released on March 22.
