Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light for Super Bowl Commercial Cameo

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a prominent figure in the country music scene, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. With numerous upcoming commitments in 2024, she has secured a spot in a Super Bowl commercial.

Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. This time, the commercial will feature a virtual seat booking feature using CGI technology, providing fans with an enhanced experience.

In Wilson's advertisement, she will be depicted in a winter-themed setting during a photoshoot. Suddenly, the "Chill Train" will swiftly pass by her. This scene will have a cold atmosphere, with blowing snow, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a cold can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry scene, the country superstar actually filmed this ad in sunny Los Angeles.

The country star shares his experience of a photo shoot where he posed with his reliable old guitar and a horse that Coors Light provided. The shoot involved applying frosted makeup effects and creating the illusion of snow in his hair and eyelashes. It was a unique opportunity for the star to explore his creativity in new and exciting ways, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, will have the opportunity to witness the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the intense showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

When questioned, Wilson confesses that she is equally thrilled about witnessing the game and the halftime show.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to see Usher perform and also be a part of the game. This is only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so it's definitely a special occasion. Whenever you receive an invitation to attend such a prestigious event, you simply cannot decline. It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate to be able to attend alongside my friends and other artists. It is bound to be an exciting and fun-filled celebration."

Although she did not explicitly express her full support for a specific team, Wilson appears to be optimistic about the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs, winning again.

According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. Last summer, they attended one of Wilson's shows and he found them to be genuinely wonderful individuals. Therefore, if he had to choose a team to support, it would probably be the Chiefs because of his positive experience with Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he prepares for the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's strongest athletes, but also because of his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Swift has been present at Chiefs' games this year whenever she can fit it into her busy touring schedule. Fans are eagerly anticipating her presence at the Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 11. Prior to the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour will resume with a performance in Tokyo, Japan on Feb. 10. Nevertheless, there is a chance that she will make it back to Las Vegas in time to witness the significant game, thanks to the time difference.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce share a kiss following a significant victory in the AFC Championship. This news was reported by Taste of Country.
