Lainey Wilson Joins Coors Light in Super Bowl Commercial, Talks Halftime Show Excitement

  • by

Lainey Wilson emerged as one of the most active figures in country music in 2023, and she shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. The talented singer has already secured numerous commitments for 2024, one of which includes appearing in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

Billboard has reported that Wilson is set to appear in a promotional advertisement for Coors Light. The commercial aims to bring back the popular Coors Light Chill Train, but with the addition of a new feature where fans can virtually book their seats using CGI technology.

In Wilson's advertisement, the setting will have a wintery theme. It will depict her in the midst of a photo shoot when suddenly the "Chill Train" rushes by. The scene will be cold with blowing snow, and Wilson will be wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, accompanied by a can of Coors Light to emphasize the chill factor. Surprisingly, despite the wintry atmosphere, the country superstar actually filmed her part for the advertisement in sunny Los Angeles.

The country singer shares a story about a photo shoot they did with their reliable old guitar and a horse provided by Coors Light. They had the opportunity to experiment with unique makeup effects that gave a frosty appearance. They also added fake snow to their hair and eyelashes, creating a visually striking look. This experience allowed them to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways, which they always enjoy.

Wilson, who is in a romantic relationship with Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, has the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl in person this year. She will witness the showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas.

Wilson confesses that she is equally thrilled about both watching the game and the halftime show.

"I am filled with anticipation to witness Usher's performance at the Super Bowl, and I am equally thrilled about the game itself. This is only the second time I have had the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation, it is an occasion that cannot be missed," expresses the singer. "It is an experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I am fortunate enough to be going with some of my friends and fellow artists. It is guaranteed to be a festive celebration."

While she didn't explicitly express her strong support for any particular team, Wilson appears to be anticipating a consecutive victory for the current Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs.

According to Wilson, he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both part of the Kansas City Chiefs football team. They attended one of his shows last summer, and Wilson found them to be wonderful individuals. If he had to choose someone to support, it would likely be Kelce and Mahomes.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as the Super Bowl approaches. This is not only because he is known as one of the NFL's most influential athletes, but also due to his high-profile relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Swift has been going to Chiefs games this season whenever she can fit it into her busy touring schedule, and there are many fans who are excited about the possibility of seeing her at the Super Bowl on February 11th. However, Swift's Eras Tour will continue earlier that week, with a show scheduled in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. Despite this, it is entirely possible that she will be able to make it back to Las Vegas in time to watch the important game, thanks to the time difference.

After a major victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shared a kiss with Travis Kelce. This news comes from Taste of Country, a source that provides information on various topics.
