Lainey Wilson to Make Cameo in Coors Light Super Bowl Commercial

  • by

Lainey Wilson, a popular figure in the country music scene, had a jam-packed schedule in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down as she enters the new year. She has already secured numerous appearances for 2024, with one of them being a featured role in a commercial during the Super Bowl.

Billboard reports that Wilson is set to appear briefly in a Coors Light advertisement that aims to promote the comeback of the Coors Light Chill Train. In this new ad, fans will have the opportunity to experience a virtual seat booking feature through CGI technology.

In the wintry-themed advertisement, Wilson will be portrayed in the midst of a photo shoot when she is surprised by the passing of the "Chill Train." The scene will depict a cold atmosphere with strong gusts of snow, Wilson wearing an icy blue fringe jacket, and holding a refreshing can of Coors Light. However, despite the wintry setting, this scene was actually filmed in sunny Los Angeles.

The country star shares a story about a photo shoot they had with their reliable old guitar and a horse that was provided by Coors Light. The shoot involved creating interesting frosty makeup effects and using fake snow in their hair and eyelashes. They were excited to try something new and express their creativity in unique ways, as it always brings them joy.

Wilson, who is in a relationship with the former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, has the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl in person this year. She will be present in Las Vegas to witness the highly-anticipated match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson acknowledges that although she is enthusiastic about watching the game, she is equally enthusiastic about the halftime show.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Usher perform, and I'm also excited for the game. It's only my second time attending the Super Bowl, so whenever you receive an invitation to go, you simply can't refuse," expresses the singer. "It's a unique experience that only happens once in a lifetime, and I'm fortunate to be going with some of my friends and fellow artists. It's going to be a lively celebration."

While she did not explicitly express her full support for any particular team, Wilson appears to be anticipating a second consecutive victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning champions of the Super Bowl.

Wilson mentions that he had the opportunity to meet Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, who are both players for the Chiefs. He recalls that they attended one of his shows during the previous summer and expresses that they are genuinely wonderful individuals. Therefore, if Wilson had to choose someone to support, it would likely be them.

Naturally, everyone's attention is focused on Kelce as he approaches the Super Bowl. This is not only due to his reputation as one of the NFL's most dominant players, but also because of his relationship with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

Swift has been making appearances at Chiefs games throughout the year whenever her touring commitments permit. Fans are eagerly anticipating the possibility of seeing her at the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 11th. Just a few days before the Super Bowl, Swift's Eras Tour will resume with a show in Tokyo, Japan on February 10th. However, it is entirely feasible that she could make it back to Las Vegas in time to catch the highly anticipated game, thanks to the time difference.

After a significant victory in the AFC Championship, Taylor Swift shares a kiss with Travis Kelce. Get more updates from Taste of Country by following us.
