Super Bowl 58 Shaping Up to Be the Priciest Ticket in Super Bowl History

  • by

Super Bowl 58 is anticipated to have the highest ticket prices ever, so if you're planning on attending, be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. This year's Super Bowl will cater to wealthy individuals who can afford the extravagant costs.

As of Thursday, TickPick, a ticket resale site, had the lowest-priced individual ticket available for $8,000. This ticket would provide a seat in the upper 300 section, although TickPick does ensure that a seat is guaranteed.

If the prices remain the same, this year's Super Bowl ticket will be remembered as the most costly one ever. The previous record was set in the 2020 Super Bowl, where the average ticket price was $6,370. The main reason for the high price that year was the participation of the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, this year's Super Bowl does not have the same scenario.

According to ticket experts, the upcoming Super Bowl in Las Vegas is the first of its kind and has led to an increase in prices. Fans are eager to enjoy a complete weekend in Sin City and culminate their experience with the highly anticipated global sporting event.

In case you were curious, the price for a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl averaged around $12.

The location plays a significant role in attracting 49er fans. According to StubHub, a website for reselling tickets, 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, where the team is based. This suggests that many fans from California find it convenient to travel shorter distances to support their favorite team. On the other hand, the combined sales of tickets from Kansas and Missouri only account for 7 percent on StubHub.

And we mustn't overlook the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence is likely to attract a greater number of female fans than usual.

Regardless of the method of entry, Allegiant Stadium, with a capacity of 65,000 seats, is expected to be completely filled. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
