The Future of CMA Fest: How a New Stadium Will Change the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience

  • by

In the future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After hosting the festival's main shows for many years, Nissan Stadium will no longer serve as the venue once the new facility is finished.

The Country Music Association has expressed their intentions to maintain their collaboration with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They eagerly anticipate hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts in the newly built stadium.

A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, situated to the east of the current Nissan Stadium. The construction of the stadium is planned to commence in the present year, and it is expected to be ready for use by 2027.

Fans of country music will have the opportunity to reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium, unlike the Titans' current home, will be an indoor facility designed specifically to enhance the fan experience. It will offer breathtaking views of Nashville, have a see-through roof, and provide 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, originally known as Fan Fair, is an incredible event for country music fans. It first took place in 1972 at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium with just 5,000 attendees.
