In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being the venue for the festival's main shows for a number of years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue once it is finished.
According to the Country Music Association, their future plans involve collaborating with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited about hosting country music enthusiasts in Nashville for the nightly concerts that will take place in the newly built stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately named the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is expected to start this year, and the stadium is anticipated to be ready for opening in 2027.
Fans of country music can continue to use the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge to reach the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville.
The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be an enclosed facility specifically designed to provide fans with an enhanced experience. It will offer wide and unobstructed views of Nashville, have a roof made of translucent material, and feature 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.
