The future of CMA Fest is bound to change due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After hosting the festival's main performances for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue where the shows will take place once it is finished.
According to the Country Music Association, they have intentions to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited about the prospect of hosting country music enthusiasts in Nashville for the evening performances at the newly built stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, situated along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is expected to commence this year, and the stadium is anticipated to be ready for use in 2027.
Fans of country music will continue to have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
In contrast to the Titans' current stadium, the upcoming location will be an indoor facility exclusively designed to provide an enhanced experience for fans. It will offer stunning views of Nashville, a roof made of translucent material, and a generous community space spanning 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.
