In the near future, CMA Fest is expected to undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After hosting the festival's main shows at Nissan Stadium for a number of years, they will be relocated to the new venue once its construction is finished.
The Country Music Association confirms that they will continue collaborating with the Tennessee Titans every year during CMA Fest. They are excited about the upcoming concerts that will take place in the new stadium and are eagerly anticipating the arrival of country music fans in Nashville.
A brand new stadium, appropriately named the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is planned to commence in the present year, and the stadium is expected to be ready for use by 2027.
Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current home. It will be an indoor facility designed to provide an enhanced experience for fans. The stadium will offer beautiful views of Nashville, a roof made of see-through material, and a large community area spanning 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest, originally known as Fan Fair, is an incredible opportunity for country music fans. It first took place in 1972 with only 5,000 attendees at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium. Over the years, it has transformed into one of the largest annual events in country music. Thousands of fans from around the world come together in Music City to enjoy performances from over 250 artists across nine stages.
