In the coming years, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the Tennessee Titans' upcoming construction of a new stadium. This means that the festival we are familiar with will no longer exist.
After many years of being held at Nissan Stadium, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the newly constructed venue once it is finished.
The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited about hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the recently constructed stadium.
The upcoming stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, situated along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The commencement of construction is expected to take place this year, and the stadium is projected to be ready for opening in 2027.
Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by crossing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new stadium for the Titans will provide a completely different experience compared to their current home. It will be an indoor facility designed specifically to enhance the fan experience. It will offer stunning views of Nashville, thanks to its panoramic windows. The stadium will also have a translucent roof, allowing natural light to fill the space. CMA Fest, formerly known as Fan Fair, has evolved into the ultimate experience for country music fans since its inception in 1972.
