In the coming years, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans. This means that the festival will not be the same as it has been in the past.
After being held at Nissan Stadium for a number of years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the newly constructed venue once it is finished.
The Country Music Association has stated that they intend to maintain their partnership with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during CMA Fest. They are excited about hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the newly constructed stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the current Nissan Stadium, which is located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction of the new stadium is planned to start this year, and it is expected to be ready for opening in 2027.
Fans of country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be an indoor facility designed to provide an enhanced experience for fans. It will feature large windows offering scenic views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and a community area of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.
