In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being the venue for the festival's main shows for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue once it is finished.
According to the Country Music Association, they have decided to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited about hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the recently constructed stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the Eastern side of the Cumberland River, near the existing Nissan Stadium. The construction is planned to commence this year, and the stadium is expected to be ready for opening in 2027.
Fans of country music will still have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new stadium where the Titans will play is different from their current one. It will be a closed facility designed to provide fans with an enhanced experience. It will have large windows offering beautiful views of Nashville, a roof made of see-through material, and a community space spanning 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.
