The Future of CMA Fest: How the New Nissan Stadium Will Change the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience

  • by

In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being held at Nissan Stadium for many years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the new venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited about the upcoming nightly concerts in the new stadium and are eagerly anticipating the arrival of country music fans in Nashville.

A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the present Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is planned to commence within this year, and it is expected to be ready for opening in 2027.

Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current home. It will be an indoor facility designed to provide an enhanced fan experience. It will offer breathtaking views of Nashville, have a see-through roof, and include a large community area spanning 12,000 square feet, usable throughout the year.

CMA Fest, also known as Fan Fair, is a remarkable event for country music enthusiasts. It originated in 1972 as a small gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium and has now evolved into one of the largest country music events of the year. People from around the world come to Music City to witness over 250 performances by various artists on nine different stages.

The CMA Fest 2024 has been planned to take place from June 6th to June 9
