In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.
After being the location for the festival's main shows for many years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue where the shows will take place once it is finished.
According to the Country Music Association, they intend to maintain their collaboration with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during CMA Fest. They are excited about the prospect of hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the newly constructed stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located to the east of the current Nissan Stadium. The construction of the new stadium is planned to commence this year, and it is expected to be ready for opening in 2027.
Fans of country music will still have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium in Nashville from downtown by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The upcoming stadium for the Titans will be completely different from their current home. It will be an enclosed facility that focuses on providing an enhanced fan experience. The stadium will offer breathtaking views of Nashville, feature a see-through roof, and include a generous 12,000 square feet of community space for year-round use.
