The Future of CMA Fest: How the New Nissan Stadium Will Transform the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience

  • by

In the near future, CMA Fest is expected to undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being hosted in the current Nissan Stadium for several years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the newly constructed venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited to invite country music fans to Nashville for the nightly concerts held in the newly constructed stadium.

A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located just east of the current Nissan Stadium. The construction is expected to commence this year, and it is anticipated that the stadium will be ready for opening in 2027.

Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be an enclosed facility designed to provide fans with an enhanced experience. It will have wide views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and a community space of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, previously known as Fan Fair, is an extraordinary event for country music enthusiasts. It originated in 1972 as a small gathering with 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium but has since evolved into one of the most significant annual events in country music. People from all over the world come together in Music City to witness over 250 performances by various artists across nine different stages.

The dates for CMA Fest 2024 have been set as June 6th to June 9th
