The Future of CMA Fest: How the New Nissan Stadium Will Transform the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience

  • by

In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being hosted at Nissan Stadium for many years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the newly constructed venue once it is finished.

According to the Country Music Association, they intend to maintain their collaboration with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during CMA Fest. They are excited about the prospect of hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening performances at the newly built stadium.

There is a new stadium called the New Nissan Stadium that will be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, right next to the existing Nissan Stadium. The building process is expected to start this year and it is planned to be ready for opening in 2027.

Fans of country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current home. It will be an indoor facility designed specifically to enhance the fan experience. It will offer stunning views of Nashville, a roof made of translucent material, and a community space spanning 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, previously known as Fan Fair, is a remarkable event for country music enthusiasts. It originated in 1972 with a modest gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium but has since evolved into one of the largest yearly celebrations in country music. People from all over the world come together in Music City to witness over 250 performances by various artists across nine different stages.

The upcoming CMA Fest in 2024 will take place from June 6th to 9th,
