The Future of CMA Fest: What to Expect as It Moves to the New Nissan Stadium

In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being the location for the festival's main shows for a number of years, the current Nissan Stadium will be replaced by a new venue where the shows will take place once it is finished.

The Country Music Association has expressed their intentions to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during CMA Fest. They are excited about inviting country music fans to Nashville for the evening concerts that will take place in the recently built stadium.

A stadium called the New Nissan Stadium will be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located east of the existing Nissan Stadium. The construction is planned to commence this year, and it is expected to be completed and open by 2027.

Fans of country music will still have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The upcoming stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be an enclosed facility designed to provide fans with an enhanced experience. The stadium will offer stunning views of Nashville, have a translucent roof, and include a community space of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, originally known as Fan Fair, is an incredible event for country music fans. It first took place in 1972 with only 5,000 attendees at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium. Over the years, it has grown to become one of the largest annual events in country music. People from all around the world come together in Music City to enjoy performances from over 250 artists on nine different stages.
