In Los Angeles, California, a brave woman went to great lengths to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman seized a dog belonging to Ali Zacharias, the owner.
The woman picked up the dog, whose name is Onyx, and brought him to a white car where another person was driving.
Fearlessly, Zacharias made a brave decision to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He quickly leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced along a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted his experience, stating that he was determined to not release his grip on the windshield wipers of the car. He found himself surprised as the vehicle continued to drive down the street, gradually gaining momentum, causing him to panic and fear for his safety. This account was shared with CBS News.
Zacharias can be seen in a viral video hanging onto the car's hood during the incident.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News through a TikTok video, explaining that when he tugged on the leash, she assumed he wanted to go sniff something, so she let go. However, she then noticed a woman holding him and walking away. Determined to retrieve her dog, she positioned herself in front of the car and insisted that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. The individuals in the car responded by driving towards her, eventually causing her to fall onto the hood. Even though she had fallen, she remained determined and declared that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Despite her efforts, they continued to drive away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempts to save her cute dog were unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance until the car suddenly changed direction, causing her to be thrown off and resulting in some minor injuries. Unfortunately, Onyx is still not found.
"I feel a sense of sadness when I realize that I am doing things without Onyx or that he is not experiencing them. For example, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I am not buying anything for him. Time has passed by so quickly, it feels like this situation just occurred. However, it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
The crime is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, as reported by CBS. They are actively looking into the matter, which involves reviewing security
