In Los Angeles, California, a courageous woman resorted to extreme measures in order to rescue her beloved French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, there was an incident outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman approached Ali Zacharias, who was walking her dog, and forcefully took the pet away from her.
The woman transported Onyx, her dog, to a white car that was being operated by another person.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined not to allow the robbers to escape with Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the front of the vehicle and held on tightly as it raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted the incident to CBS News, saying that he was determined not to release his grip on the car and held onto the windshield wipers. Without realizing it, they started driving down the street and gradually accelerated, causing Zacharias to become terrified for his life.
A viral video has been circulating online, capturing the incident of Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident in a TikTok video to NBC News, stating that when he tugged on the leash, she initially thought he just wanted to go smell something, so she let go. However, she soon noticed a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. In an attempt to stop them, Zacharias stood in front of their car and firmly told them that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. The individuals in the car ignored her plea and proceeded to drive towards her, eventually causing her to fall onto the hood of their car. Despite this, Zacharias remained determined and continued to insist that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. The individuals then drove away, leaving her clinging onto the car.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute puppy was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance until the car suddenly changed direction, causing him to be thrown off and sustain minor injuries. However, Onyx, the puppy, is still nowhere to be found.
"No matter what I'm doing, I feel a sense of sadness because I'm not doing it with Onyx or because he's not able to experience it. For example, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not buying anything for him. Time has passed so quickly, it feels like this situation just occurred. And yet, it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
CBS reported that the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in a thorough investigation of the crime, which involves the examination of security footage.
