In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely clung onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, there was an incident that took place outside of a Whole Foods supermarket. During this incident, a woman approached Ali Zacharias, who is the owner of a dog, and forcefully took away
The woman picked up the dog, called Onyx, and brought him to a white car where someone else was driving.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to foil the thieves' plan of stealing Onyx. Without hesitation, he leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it zoomed through the crowded streets of Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted his experience of holding onto the windshield wipers and refusing to let go of the car. As they drove down the street and accelerated, he found himself in a state of panic, fearing for his life.
There is also a widely circulated video capturing the incident, which shows Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News in a TikTok video, explaining that when the man pulled the leash, she initially thought he wanted to let the dog smell something, so she let go. However, she then noticed a woman holding the dog and walking away with him. In an attempt to stop them from leaving, she positioned herself in front of their car and firmly told them that they couldn't go because they had her dog. Despite her efforts, they drove into her, causing her to fall onto the hood of their car. Even after falling, she refused to give up and declared that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Unfortunately, they drove away despite her protests.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute puppy was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly veered, causing him to be thrown off and suffer only minor injuries. However, Onyx, the puppy, is still nowhere to be found.
"No matter what I'm doing, it makes me feel sad that I can't do it with Onyx or that he's not experiencing it. For example, when I'm grocery shopping, I think about how I'm not buying anything for him. It feels like time has passed by so fast. It feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
CBS has reported that the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in a thorough investigation of the crime, which involves the examination of security footage.
