In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held onto the hood of a moving car after a thief stole her cherished French bulldog.
On January 18, a woman took a dog from its owner, Ali Zacharias, outside of a Whole Foods supermarket.
The woman transported Onyx, a dog, to a white car that was being driven by another person.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to prevent the thieves from escaping with Onyx. Without hesitation, she leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted the intense moment when he found himself gripping onto the windshield wipers of the car, determined not to let go. Without even realizing it, they were speeding down the block, causing Zacharias to panic and fear for his life.
A viral video has surfaced capturing the incident, which shows Zacharias clinging onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News in a TikTok video. Initially, when he tugged on the leash, she assumed he simply wanted to sniff something, so she let go. However, to her surprise, she noticed a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Reacting quickly, she positioned herself in front of the car and firmly stated that they couldn't leave as they had her dog. Instead of stopping, the individuals in the car drove towards her, causing her to fall onto the hood. Despite this, she remained determined and declared that she wouldn't leave until her dog was returned. Despite her efforts, the car drove away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute dog was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance before the car abruptly changed direction, causing him to fall off. As a result, he sustained minor injuries such as cuts and bruises. Sadly, Onyx, the dog, is still nowhere to be found.
"I feel a sense of sadness in everything I do because I am not doing it with Onyx, or because he is missing out. Even when I am grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I am not buying anything for him. It's hard to believe that time has passed so quickly. It feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it has already been 10 days," she expressed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in a thorough investigation of the crime, which involves the careful examination of security footage, as reported by CBS.
