In Los Angeles, California, a woman displayed immense bravery as she desperately held onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a heartless thief.
On January 18, an incident took place outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a lady approached Ali Zacharias, the owner of a dog, and abruptly took the pet away.
The woman picked up Onyx, the dog, and brought him to a white car that was being driven by another person.
Determinedly, Zacharias was not going to allow the thieves to escape after taking Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the front of the vehicle and held on tightly as it raced down a bustling street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted how he refused to release his grip on the car, firmly holding onto the windshield wipers. The situation quickly escalated as the car continued to drive down the street, accelerating in speed. Zacharias felt an overwhelming sense of fear for his life during this unexpected turn of events.
Additionally, a video capturing the event has gained widespread attention online, revealing Zacharias gripping onto the car's hood.
Zacharias shared her experience in a TikTok video where she explained that when her dog pulled the leash, she initially thought he wanted to go smell something, so she let go. However, to her surprise, she looked up and saw a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to get her dog back, she positioned herself in front of the car and firmly stated that the woman couldn't leave as she had her dog. Instead of complying, the individuals in the car drove into her, causing her to fall onto their hood. Despite this, Zacharias remained resilient and insisted that she wouldn't leave until her dog was returned. Eventually, the individuals drove off, still with her dog.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute dog was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly changed direction, causing him to be thrown off. As a result, he only suffered minor injuries like cuts and bruises. However, his dog, Onyx, is still nowhere to be found.
"No matter what I'm doing, it's just disheartening that I can't do it with Onyx or that he's not here to experience it. Even when I'm grocery shopping, I can't help but feel guilty for not getting anything for him. It's unbelievable how quickly time has passed. It feels like this just occurred, and yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in an investigation of the crime, which involves analyzing security footage, as reported by CBS.
