In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held on to the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18, an incident occurred outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman approached Ali Zacharias, who was walking her dog, and abruptly took the dog away.
The woman transported the dog, who goes by the name Onyx, to a white car that was being driven by another individual.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced down a bustling street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted his experience, stating that he was determined not to release his grip on the car and clung onto the windshield wipers. In a matter of moments, they found themselves driving down the street, gradually gaining speed, which caused Zacharias to panic and fear for his life. This was shared during an interview with CBS News.
Zacharias was captured in a video that has gained widespread attention, as it shows him gripping onto the car's hood.
In her TikTok video, Zacharias recounted the incident where she let go of her dog's leash, thinking he just wanted to go smell something. However, she was surprised to see a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to get her dog back, Zacharias stood in front of the car and insisted that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. Despite her efforts, the car began driving towards her, eventually causing her to fall onto the hood. Even in this situation, Zacharias remained resolute, declaring that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Eventually, the car drove off while she was still clinging to it.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save her cute puppy did not succeed. She managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly changed direction and caused her to be thrown off, resulting in only minor injuries such as cuts and bruises. Sadly, Onyx is still not found.
"I feel a sense of sadness whenever I engage in any activity, as I wish Onyx could be with me or experience it as well. Even while grocery shopping, I find myself thinking about not being able to buy anything for him. It's astonishing how fast time has passed. It feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the crime, which involves the examination of security footage, as reported by CBS.
