In Los Angeles, California, a brave woman went to great lengths to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18th, there was an incident that took place outside of a Whole Foods supermarket. During this incident, a woman approached Ali Zacharias, the owner of a dog, and forcefully took the pet
The woman picked up the dog, whose name is Onyx, and took him to a white car that was being driven by another person.
Bravely, Zacharias was determined to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He leapt onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced down a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted the incident to CBS News, stating that he was determined to not release his grip on the windshield wipers of the car. Without realizing it, they started driving down the street at an increasing speed, causing him to become extremely frightened for his life.
A viral video of the event has surfaced, capturing Zacharias gripping onto the car's hood.
In her TikTok video, Zacharias recounted how she initially thought her dog just wanted to sniff something, so she loosened her grip on his leash. However, she was taken aback when she looked up and saw a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to get her dog back, Zacharias bravely stood in front of the car and insisted that the woman could not leave with her dog. Despite her protests, the driver of the car continued to drive towards her, ultimately causing her to fall onto the hood of the car. Undeterred, Zacharias remained steadfast and declared that she would not leave until her dog was returned to her. Despite her efforts, the car eventually drove off, leaving her without her beloved pet.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempts to save her cute puppy were unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance until the car abruptly turned, causing her to fall off and sustain minor injuries. Onyx, her puppy, is still nowhere to be found.
"I feel a sense of sadness whenever I engage in any activity because I wish I could do it with Onyx or that he could experience it too. For example, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not buying anything for him. It's surprising how quickly time has passed, as it feels like this situation just occurred, and yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
The crime is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, who are actively looking into it and also examining security footage as part of their investigation.
