In Los Angeles, California, a woman showed immense bravery as she desperately clung onto the hood of a moving car in order to rescue her cherished French bulldog from a thief.
On January 18th, an incident occurred outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman took away a dog belonging to Ali Zacharias, the owner.
The woman transported the dog, who goes by the name Onyx, to a white vehicle that was being driven by another individual.
Bravely, Zacharias was determined to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He leaped onto the car's front and held on tightly as it raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted how he refused to release his grip on the car's windshield wipers, determined to not let go. He found himself in a situation where the car started moving down the street, gradually accelerating, and he became terrified for his safety.
There is a widely circulated video that captures the incident, in which Zacharias can be seen holding onto the car's hood.
Zacharias shared her experience in a TikTok video, where she described how she initially thought her dog wanted to go smell something when he pulled the leash, so she let go. However, to her surprise, she looked up and saw a woman holding her dog and walking away with him. Determined to get her dog back, Zacharias positioned herself in front of the car and firmly told the woman that she couldn't leave with her dog. Instead of complying, the people in the car drove into her, causing her to fall onto the hood. Even after falling, Zacharias refused to give up and insisted that she wouldn't leave until her dog was returned. Despite her efforts, the individuals in the car continued to drive away.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save her cute dog was unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance before the car suddenly veered, causing her to be thrown off and resulting in minor injuries such as cuts and bruises. Unfortunately, Onyx is still not found.
"No matter what I'm doing, I feel a sense of sadness because I am not doing it with Onyx or because he is missing out. For instance, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not buying anything for him. It's amazing how quickly time has passed. It feels like this just occurred, but it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
CBS reported that the Los Angeles Police Department is currently engaged in an active investigation of the crime, which involves the examination of security footage.
