In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held onto the hood of a moving car to rescue her French bulldog, which had been stolen by a thief.
On January 18, an incident took place outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman took hold of Ali Zacharias' dog after approaching her.
The woman picked up the dog, named Onyx, and brought it over to a white car that was being driven by another person.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to stop the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted his experience where he firmly decided not to release his grip on the car and held onto the windshield wipers. He was caught off guard when the car started moving down the street and accelerating, causing him to panic for his safety.
A video capturing the incident has gained widespread attention, depicting Zacharias gripping onto the car's hood.
Zacharias recounted the incident to NBC News in a TikTok video, explaining that when he tugged on the leash, she initially thought he just wanted to go sniff something, so she let go. However, to her surprise, a woman grabbed hold of her dog and began walking away with him. In an attempt to stop them, Zacharias positioned herself in front of their car and insisted that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. The individuals in the car then proceeded to drive towards her, intentionally hitting her until she ended up on the hood of their car. Despite the dangerous situation, Zacharias refused to give up and declared that she wouldn't leave until they returned her dog. Eventually, they drove away with her dog still in their possession.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save her cute dog was unsuccessful. She managed to hold on for a short distance, but the car suddenly veered, causing her to be thrown off and suffer only minor injuries. Unfortunately, Onyx is still not found.
"No matter what I'm engaged in, I can't help but feel sad that I'm not doing it together with Onyx or that he's not experiencing it. For instance, when I go grocery shopping, I find myself realizing that I'm not buying anything for him. It's astonishing how fast time has passed. It feels like this situation occurred just recently, and yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
The crime is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, who are actively looking into it and analyzing security footage as part of their investigation, as
