In Los Angeles, California, a woman bravely held onto the hood of a moving car after a thief stole her cherished French bulldog. She resorted to extreme measures to rescue her beloved pet.
On January 18, an incident took place outside a Whole Foods supermarket where a woman seized the pet of Ali Zacharias, who was the dog owner.
The woman picked up the dog, Onyx, and took him over to a white car where someone else was driving.
Fearlessly, Zacharias was determined to prevent the thieves from escaping with Onyx. He bravely leaped onto the car's hood and held on tightly as it raced through a crowded street in Los Angeles.

Zacharias recounted to CBS News that he was determined not to release his grip on the car, so he clung onto the windshield wipers. However, he soon found himself being driven down the street at an increasing speed, causing him to become extremely frightened for his life.
A video capturing the incident has become widely shared online, depicting Zacharias gripping onto the car's hood.
Zacharias shared her experience in a TikTok video, describing how she initially thought her dog wanted to explore something, so she let go of the leash. However, she was surprised to see a woman grab her dog and walk away with him. Determined not to let her dog be taken away, Zacharias stood in front of the car and insisted that they couldn't leave because they had her dog. Despite her efforts, the car started driving towards her and eventually hit her, causing her to fall onto the hood. Even after this, Zacharias remained resolute and stated that she wouldn't leave until her dog was returned. Eventually, the car drove off, leaving her without her beloved pet.
Regrettably, Zacharias' brave attempt to save his cute dog was unsuccessful. He managed to hold on for a short distance, but the car suddenly veered and caused him to be thrown off, resulting in minor injuries like cuts and bruises. Unfortunately, Onyx, the dog, is still not found.
"I feel a sense of sadness whenever I engage in any activity because I realize that Onyx is not here with me or experiencing it. For example, when I go grocery shopping, I can't help but think that I'm not buying anything for him. It's astonishing how quickly time has passed. It feels like this situation occurred just recently, yet it's already been 10 days," she expressed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently conducting a thorough investigation into the crime, which involves examining security footage as part of their efforts.
