There have been six unforgettable final concerts by renowned artists such as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Daryle Singletary. George Jones was aware that his last concert was approaching, while Daryle Singletary was oblivious to this fact. Surprisingly, Singletary's choice of song to conclude the night added an extra layer of haunting intensity to his performance.
Following the passing of Merle Haggard, a heartwarming tale emerged claiming that Toby Keith had assisted him in gracefully concluding his final performance. However, this narrative turned out to be false. Contrary to popular belief, Keith was not present during the Hag's last show, and the individual who misled us into believing otherwise was also absent.
In reality, actor W. Earl Brown was not present at the show where Keith actually assisted Haggard in finishing. He had only heard about it.

Taste of Country found a review of what appears to be Haggard's last performance and uncovered a significant and touching moment that deserves as much recognition as the Toby Keith hero story. This is just one of the six final concert memories that are shared in the video above (and depicted in the pictures below).
This video includes the last performance of John Denver, the final song of Johnny Cash, and the made-for-TV swan song of Waylon Jennings, creating a mix of emotions.
We absolutely love the Singletary performance. If you are familiar with Johnny Paycheck's song "Old Violin," then you know the level of talent he showcased in that performance. However, if you are not familiar with it, I highly recommend watching it because it is truly captivating.
