Pardi spins his wife Summer around a dance floor in one scene and holds his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while horseback riding in another scene.
Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song reflects their personal backgrounds. Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy, while Bryan, who comes from a family of peanut farmers, plays the role of the plowboy. The music video offers a glimpse into their autobiographical stories.
Pardi explained to Taste of Country Nights that he and Luke both believed the song was made for them to perform together. The song is about cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have experience involving their family members in their music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in the music video for his song "One Margarita" in 2020, which was set at the beach. On the other hand, Pardi featured his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest music release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first since the Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022, with the exception of a Christmas album released last year. He and his wife, Summer, became parents to baby Presley in February, and they have now revealed they are expecting their second child, a girl, in July.
