There have been six incredibly haunting final concerts by notable artists such as Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Daryle Singletary. George Jones was aware that his last concert would be his final performance. On the other hand, Daryle Singletary was unaware, which adds an even more eerie feel to the song he selected to conclude the evening.
Following the passing of Merle Haggard, a heartwarming tale circulated about Toby Keith assisting him in gracefully exiting the stage. However, this account turned out to be false. Keith was not present during Haggard's last performance, and the individual who deceived us into believing he was also absent.
In fact, the actor W. Earl Brown was not present at the show where Keith assisted Haggard in finishing. He simply learned about it later.

Taste of Country uncovered a critique of what appeared to be Haggard's last performance and found a moving moment that deserves as much recognition as the Toby Keith hero story. This is one of the six memories from the final concert that are shared in the video above (and in the pictures below).
Included in this poignant video are John Denver's final performance, Johnny Cash's last song, and Waylon Jennings' made-for-TV farewell.
We absolutely love the Singletary performance. If you're already acquainted with Johnny Paycheck's song "Old Violin," you can guess how impressive it is. However, if you're not familiar with it, we highly recommend you continue watching because it's truly remarkable.
